Winding 4-Strand-Braid

Besides the 3D-pullthrough braid this was tzhe other hairstyle Nessa was exited about, when we met. Because this is difficult to impossible to braid on your own head, because you can't pull the strands in the right directions yourself.
I would say my work was worth it, didn't it? The green ribbon was so pretty we just could not cut it to the mathcing length so it vanished in Nessa's jeans backpocket. This is hidden by her enormous amount of hair. And why not? This is really rather a photo hairstyle, not for walking around with it.

I have to admit, I am a bit proud of this braid. Because I managed to take exactly the right amount of hair for the adding strands to compensate the taper. Like this the winding braid remains at the same thickness all the way down. Normally french braids or lacebraids easily gain thickness as you continue adding hair.
